As the organization grows and programming is introduced, the Gary Abrahamson Jr. Music, Arts, and Life Enrichment Center (Music & Arts Center) may offer a wide range of music, arts, and life enrichment activities, shaped by community interest, partnerships, and available resources.

These activities may include music or art therapy, choir opportunities, community drum circles, beginner-friendly guitar or ukulele circles, jam sessions, music and art enrichment activities, educational seminars, painting and drawing sessions, craft workshops, group sing-alongs, music bingo, story circles, intergenerational programs connecting children and seniors, culinary classes, and nutrition or healthy living talks.

Offerings may be presented in individual or group settings and are intended to be inclusive, engaging, and adaptable.

How can you help?

Community input is an important part of this process. Individuals, organizations, and potential partners who have questions, ideas for programming, or interest in collaboration to benefit the community are encouraged to reach out.

The Center is being developed to serve a diverse population, including children, teens, young adults, seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities or special needs. Our goal is to build a sustainable, community-focused space where music, creativity, and life enrichment support connection, dignity, and lifelong engagement—creating a lasting resource for Escanaba and the surrounding region.

The Gary Abrahamson Jr. Music, Arts, and Life Enrichment Center (Music & Arts Center) is a nonprofit located at 2635 1st Avenue South, Escanaba, Michigan. The Music & Arts Center is being developed as a welcoming community space where individuals and groups will be able to engage in music, arts, and meaningful life enrichment experiences. Guided by the belief that creativity, learning, and shared experiences enhance quality of life, the Music & Arts Center is envisioned as a place that fosters connection, expression, and a sense of belonging for people of all ages and abilities.
